Delta Dental of Missouri has introduced a Healthy Smiles, Healthy Lives benefit package. The new benefits provide up to four dental cleanings and/or periodontal cleanings for people at risk for periodontal disease, and enhanced coverage for other treatments.
Delta Dental will provide the enhanced coverage for pregnant women, diabetics and those diagnosed with periodontal disease. It will also offer enhanced periodontal coverage for those with suppressed immune systems such as patients undergoing chemotherapy or those who have been diagnosed with AIDS or the virus that causes it.
